The Lantana development began as a master plan for an under-utilized space adjacent to an existing MTA railroad right of way in Santa Monica, California. The project included, campus master planning for the commercial space, and a central semi-public open space. The first phase of development included full design and construction observation services for the IMAX headquarters. It also included the installation of the first permeable paving parking lot and on-site stormwater management system, of its scale, in Santa Monica. The second phase of development included design and construction observation of Lantana East and Lantana South. Both Lantana East and South were built over parking structures and included open spaces and programmed spaces for workers. The landscape design was based on a drought tolerant landscape palette. The final phase of development included design through construction observation of a central park within the existing right of way.
